Jon Petrucci started training in boxing at LA Boxing when he was 16 years old, just looking for a new hobby and good way to stay in shape. He boxed for only a couple months before transitioning into Traditional Muay Thai where he fell in love with the culture and the art itself. After a few years of training he started competing in amateur Muay Thai Events and finished with a record of 4-1 before transitioning into MMA. He trained and coached at Power MMA for a little over a year teaching Muay Thai and working with the pro team. Now he trains under Head Coach Javier Torres competing in Muay Thai out of UKF with a current record of 6-2 and is the current 145 champion of Rise of Prospects Organization. He currently teaches fitness Muay Thai for all ages. He strongly emphasizes technique while giving his classes killer workouts.
